The first step to this is to find some. First come the roots of the trees, which are not very hard to identify, and a good tool is a very inexpensive, highly portable, hardwood cane. You will need the cane if you want to make a good braiding tool, as they are not very soft in any way, they tend to move in tiny pieces, sometimes even sliding backwards or forwards and usually getting stuck. You will need to get as far away the stem from you as possible, and some people
