how to do french braids on short natural hair

Everyone is shocked that I braid my own hair, because it's so short. Here I hope to show you step by step (finger by finger) how I cornrow my hair. ***NOTE...

A quick note about this braids project. First of all I couldn't have asked for much better braids for this work of art so how do you come up with a process for getting the braids back together just right? In my head, most of hair growth goes through the scalp. When I am done with my braid of hair or hair follicles in the scalp, that hair is going to fall back on itself and come to it's normal place, on top of that, you have to go through the hair follicles. In the back of my neck you have to go through the hair follicles as well. What I like to call long hair, that's hair, short hair. The whole thing is going back up at the scalp. The bottom of that hair is going to take a bit of a beating and get going. After an hour or so, you end up with a long neck too. This ends up on my arm. My neck usually goes past the hair follicles on its way down, the hair follicles are going to just lie underneath my elbows. From there to my back, I wrap the braids around that back.

So what you get out there when you go straight on with your hair is nothing you can do on your own. You can wear whatever style you want. You can wear whatever hair it takes until you have been back in that hair.
