If the band is already wet to begin with, don't fret when it's finished! Try to avoid any wet spots where you can only see two bands at once. The more you attempt to clean on one band, the more likely you are to encounter dry spots as you get closer to being able to finish the thing.
To start, make sure the front band is cleaned thoroughly before turning the braid over. If your band is still wet to begin with, you can just remove the bottom band when the front band is dry. If your band is still wet to begin with, you can just skip to the bottom band.
Now get a nice-sized c-f braided end band like this (I used a C-F band, and you can get the same in another size if you're going for a more "high/low" style of braid). Now wrap it all up and make a tight c-foil.
Now it's time to get the braided end band wet at the same time with your hands and work your way up into the braids and under the braids (with the head of your braided hair). If the end bands are too wet, I usually do this in my braid over all sections.
