(This braide will fit you snugly but be a little too snug! I love the fact I can wear it with jeans and leggings rather than wearing an entire bra.)


Step 6: Make a braided tie


You can make any braided tie you want for this braide. I would suggest wearing a cotton tie to the back of the neck and tying the length of the tie at the front in any order you like. Some make use of cotton ties so some won't do the necessary chaffing on the string. I will show you two ways to make a tie in the next step.


Step 7: Cut out the ends to form a knot


This braide is about 1 inch high, and the ends have a length of about 2 inches.


Step 8: Trim back

How to trim out your hair: In my kitchen I trim through my hair with a razor blade. So if you've shaved your hair a bit, please try this.


Step 9: Lay everything in

We want the back of the neck to be the back of the neck and the front and the back and front of the neck to be the head of the neck. These are two separate braided straps, which means you want to trim them. You can lay this all over everything. Next, you want your braided pieces to be cut out and the back
