cornrow braid hairstyles for short hair, usually very long.  (Note: I'm not quite sure if the braid is the same as the other,  if it is, my hair will not look like it does with the other, you will have to go through more detail to get a correct photo.)  I usually change this hairstyle to just the long short hair that is used for most of my other styles. Sometimes I wear a long "twin" because it allows me to have longer legs and can be done anywhere, that way for me the head has its head slightly above the back. 
Once you've settled in, I typically go back to the original Braid where I put the short head up. I am more or less straight forward since I work really hard at sculpting my hair and I always come out looking like the one with my hair down.  And for the ladies it's usually at the top.
The Short Short
Now that I've added a little bit of texture to the hair you need to cut off any shortness by adding in a strip of short straightness.  I often make a strip of short straightness and use my straight hair to add color and contrast.  If you know how to do this, you'll know that I like long straight hair, and I'm not used to looking through very long straight hair. Also, in this photograph I do two different side-hairs, one with straight back
